Somewhere between the ages of 10 and 12 my father bought for me a Brownie Hawkeye which began a “love affair” between me and photography which continues to this day. I only wish that my Dad could see the results of that love today.

Photography became more serious for me as I started to develop more skills and techniques.  Today I categorize my work as Creative Photography, the ability to take a regular image and create something new from it.

My first venture in this Creative process resulted in my receiving a “Best Of Show” Gold Medal award in an International Competition. Since then, I have received numerous awards, both Nationally and Internationally.

Communing with nature is very exciting and a great way of Photographing birds and catching them in flight  When I review my shots and discover I have caught the right moment I feel a great reward and a realization that  all aspects of photographic art have become for me, a most satisfying way of capturing the beauty of life in all its elements.
